This growth means we need to add staff and we are hoping you may be the fit we are looking for to become a team member. We are currently looking for the following positions:

Are you an Experienced Dispatcher looking for a great opportunity to advance in your skill set? We are seeking to hire a Full-time Dispatcher to add to our growing team! We are looking for candidates with previous dispatching experience with geographical knowledge of Western MA. Previous experience with a Fuel Delivery or HVAC/Service Company is preferred but not required.

Job Description: This position performs the following tasks:

  • Route a fleet of delivery and service vehicles to handle all required stops
  • Assign delivery tickets to the appropriate driver in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Ensure all tickets are assigned and dispatched
  • Working with repair garage to ensure all trucks are serviced regularly
  • Monitor driver/technician progress
  • Maintains accuracy of ticket management system
  • Generate/Review delivery schedules – making adjustments when needed
  • Generate and review exception reports
  • Complete other projects and special assignments as requested by Senior Management

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking and attention to detail. Fuel Services Inc. of South Hadley is looking for full time Massachusetts Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers to join our growing Plumbing Division. Residential HVAC experience a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain and repair plumbing components, gas lines, water heaters and boilers.
  • Work with Master Plumber on all aspects of the plumbing business.
  • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Researches catalogs and vendor services for complex and/or customized system retrofits.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair skills.
  • Knowledge of steam, water, and natural gas distribution systems maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
  • Ability to lead others in troubleshooting and emergency repairs.
  • Ability to develop and implement planned maintenance programs.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follows safety procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills
  • Ability to self-start and act as team towards a common goal

Requirements:

  • Must possess Massachusetts Journeyman or Apprentice Plumbing License
  • Valid Massachusetts or Connecticut Driver’s License
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of experience in the plumbing industry.
