Are you an experienced HVAC technician? Are installations for oil, gas and A/C second nature to you? Are you licensed, do you have a clean driving record and have good people skills? We want to talk to you!

FSi is looking for a full-time HVAC technician to join our team and continue our tradition of providing top-quality customer service.

  • sheet metal knowledge is a plus

We also have an immediate need for CT licensed oil burner technicians.

  • candidates MUST be licensed in the State of Connecticut (B or S licenses) and will work in our CT service area; although all employees do report to our South Hadley, MA, office

Fuel Services Inc. of South Hadley is looking for full time Massachusetts Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers to join our growing Plumbing Division. Residential HVAC experience a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain and repair plumbing components, gas lines, water heaters and boilers.
  • Work with Master Plumber on all aspects of the plumbing business.
  • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Researches catalogs and vendor services for complex and/or customized system retrofits.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair skills.
  • Knowledge of steam, water, and natural gas distribution systems maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
  • Ability to lead others in troubleshooting and emergency repairs.
  • Ability to develop and implement planned maintenance programs.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follows safety procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills
  • Ability to self-start and act as team towards a common goal

Requirements

  • Must possess Massachusetts Journeyman or Apprentice Plumbing License
  • Valid Massachusetts or Connecticut Driver’s License
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of experience in the plumbing industry.
